Knitting Olympics Update

Update Day 8

Week One has come and gone without much action on the OddBall front. This is so bloody typical of me. But after several false starts, we are ....

Here

Yes, it's a shawl, off the needles with a border being knit on. More or less the plan of a week ago.

Up Close & Personal

And there you have it ... back to bed time for this OddBall. I'm working nights. Talk at you'se all laters; thanks for reading.

PS: Who the hell invited Winter back??

Nice so far! I'll have to knit a shawl someday. Silk. Yeah, silk. I love silk.

I'm trying very hard to not open up the package of silk that just arrived and start a new project. I've even opened the plastic slightly and smelled it and got all delerious. There's nothing else that smells like silk.

*sigh*

Now I have to go back to my terminably dull wool Olympic sweater that I've started three times already, each time with a different yarn. God I suck.

Oh, yeah, the silk smell. Unfortunately, this silk isn't smelling so much which is probably a good thing. Otherwise, I'd be wrapping myself in it and rolling around on the floor.

only fiber artists could have this snorting silk conversation.
Others just dont get it. I have silk hjankies for spinning that I huff at least once a week.Someday i may actually use them for thier intended purpose!
